Located under one of the largest live oak trees on Lavaca County is Red Christian's Store in Sublime, seven miles or so east of Hallettsville on US highway 90Alternate. As it is with all Old Geezer places, there is plenty of cold beer available at affordable prices. Don't try to stop on Mondays because that is when they are closed; but any other afternoon and evening you can stop in, catch up on the latest news, pick up a cold one, or play a game of dominoes.
