This hundred plus year old bar and dancehall is located in northern Lavaca County and you really have to want to go there to get there. Henrietta Filip is the owner of the store which is open most afternoons and evenings. Weekends are the busiest and most interesting times to visit. To get there, take FM 532 east from Moulton to FM 957, turn left (north) and go about a mile and there it is. FM 957 south from Schulenburg or 957 north from Hallettsville will also get you there. And for those with GPS latitude 29 degrees 35.5 minutes north, longitude 96 degrees 59.1 west. Sometimes there is live music on the weekends so call ahead at 979-562-2217.
