Charlottenburg Store

 ^{For the hearing impaired.  If you are in the neighborhood, it would certainly be worth your time to stop in and visit Doris at Machart's Store in beautiful, downtown Charlottenburg, the Paris of Lavaca County. This place is a real throwback to the old time country store with some groceries, a pool table, dominos, and , of course, plenty of brewskis. To find the store, take state highway 95 north out of Shiner to FM 1891, take a right ond go about three plus miles and turn right on the first paved road you come to. Machart's Store is only a stones throw from the intersection. A word of caution; don't play Doris pool for money/}
